Premium Collision Group is a leading network of high-end vehicle regeneration labs (collision repair centers), primarily serving vehicles from insurance companies. Rooted in a deep passion for automobiles and a strong work ethic, the business began in 1970 as a modest auto parts store in Querétaro and a small repair shop in San Juan del Río—founded by the López family, who have been involved in automotive mechanics for two generations.
The founder, José Luis López Sr., instilled in his family the values of craftsmanship and care, treating each vehicle as a patient deserving of expert attention. Today, his son, José Luis López Jr., serves as CEO and leads the group alongside long-time business partner Héctor Martínez, ushering in a new era of innovation and expansion.
From this vision, several specialized entities were born:
- Premium Collision Center – High-capacity repair labs equipped with the latest technology, including Mexico’s first PPG Moonwalk® paint robot.
- Smart Collision Center and Car DSGN – Dedicated to the assessment and regeneration of electric and hybrid vehicles as well as agency multibrand repair centers with premium-level service, facilities, and quality.
- Premium Collision Import Autoparts – A specialized importer of high-end, hybrid, and electric vehicle parts from the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Today, Premium Collision Group is recognized as an industry leader and a key partner for insurance companies across Mexico.
